At Groz-Beckert, quality as an issue begins long before the production process. It plays a major role in the selection of materials. For this reason only carefully selected, internally defined special steel qualities find their way into our production process.

Only after painstaking analyses of layer thickness, surface properties and chemical composition are steel qualities released for production. This is how we are able to guarantee a long needle life-time and trouble-free production processes for the user.

Continuous testing of dimensional accuracy using shadow projection forms are an underlying condition for the absolute uniformity of our needles.

Alongside automatic checks and controls, we also rely on the final assessment of our team of highly qualified specialists. Needle latches, for instance, are tested for optimum ease of movement by experienced employees.

Quality signed and sealed. Our headquarters as well as our production sites for needles and CPC are DIN EN ISO 9001 certified. Other areas are working in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001. This and a number of international awards testify to our long-standing commitment to no-compromise quality of the very highest standard. To offer our customers optimum quality needles, we pursue a policy of comprehensive quality management on every level, implemented by a quality-conscious work force.

The fundamental elements of our quality system are documented in a manual which defines quality procedures as well as all sequences with relevance to quality. Our Group Handbook sets down work sequences which are both manageable and traceable, and ensures the greatest possible degree of clarity. This allows us to offer our customers the assurance of the very highest standard of quality.
